5E Other Laws Affecting Broadcasting : Election Reporting
It is an offence to make a false statement of fact in relation to the personal character of a candidate after an election has been called and it is also an offence to publish or broadcast falsely that a candidate has withdrawn from the election in order to promote another candidate.
